ST. PAUL, MN, June 6, 2008 -- All roads led to Houston for WINDPOWER 2008, and three lucky attendees made their way to the WindLogics booth to win Garmin® eTrex® Vista HCX personal navigators.
The winning entries were Danilo Carranza, insight@ction, Doral, FL and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; John Steiner, Idaho Wind Farms, LLC, Oreana, ID; and John Miceli, Wolverine Power Cooperative, Cadillac, MI.
"Interest in wind power continues to grow, with the number of attendees in Houston nearly doubling compared to the 2007 conference. We are continually impressed by the level of entrepreneurial and technical talent at WINDPOWER, and WindLogics is pleased to announce the winners of our daily prize drawings," said Larry Sinesio, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
"We chose to give away high quality GPS devices because they are extremely helpful to landowners and developers in early stages of wind project planning," he continued. "We work with our customers during these early stages, right through financing and into wind plant operations."
WINDPOWER 2008, sponsored by the American Wind Energy Association, was held in Houston, TX from June 1 to 4. The conference drew over 700 exhibitors and over 13,000 attendees.
